Have you ever broken a bone? If not, what's the worst injury you've sustained?
No broken bones, not yet anyway. But I have fractured a finger back when I was around 12 yrs old. Fell off of my bike and just landed wrong.
The worst injury was, again bikes, when I rode off to deliver a resume to a job that I had just been hired for. I was about 17 yrs old or so, and I was just leaving the townhouse complex where my family lived. I bunny hopped a speed bump (so extreme I know), and got super loose on the landing, one had slipped off and I grabbed a handful of front brake. Zing! Human Lawn Dart. First thing to hit was my forehead, protected by my Janet Jackson Rhythm Nation bandanna then I tumbled and rolled. It sucked. 911 was called by a neighbour, and off to Richmond General I went. All the while first responders kept asking me stuff like: "What day is it? What is your name? Where are you?" Standard procedure yea? But when your all of 17 it gets annoying, so once I was in the hospital and growing weary of the cervical collar (those things hurt like hell) I finally got all snarky and said to the nurse, "Go ask that guy over there, he just asked me the same shit." My mother almost killed me in a hospital. Funnily enough there were no scans done of my head, no X-ray or MRI. They let me go and we went home.About a decade ago while running my hand along my head I found a fissure. Later on I discovered that the fissure actually runs in a semi circle from the forehead to just before my ear. I did crack my head. And no one knew.

I found this via Stumble. Take a look at it, it is beautiful.
Sometimes i think that my mind works like that to music, just dashes of light dancing, connecting, dispersing, and moving all to the nuances of sound organized into patterns.
